The National Anti-Corruption Commission (CONAC/Cameroon) leads a merciless fight against corruption.
This includes :
- self-assessment (see newsletter n°46),
- Raising young people's awareness of the evils of corruption and the culture of integrity because, for them, corruption is the gravedigger of merit (see bulletin n°47);
- Creation and assistance to integrity clubs in the universities of the Cameroon region (see Bulletin n°48).
In summary, CONAC has understood that the fight against corruption requires a synergy of many actors, including young people, and the sharing of information is an effective and efficient way to fight this evil. This is why the National Anti-Corruption Commission of Cameroon has created a monthly bilingual newsletter to inform and educate citizens on the evils of corruption and how to fight this scourge.
